The bucket elevator series is a commonly used lifting and conveying equipment, mainly suitable for vertically conveying bulk materials with low abrasiveness such as powder, granules, and small lumps, including grains, coal, cement, crushed ore, etc. The product features large conveying capacity, high lifting height, stable operation, long service life, good sealing, minimal environmental pollution; easy operation and maintenance, and few vulnerable parts.

Generally, the selection of a bucket elevator depends on the following factors:
1. Material form: whether the material is powdery, granular, or small lumpy.
2. Physical properties of the material: whether the material has adhesiveness or viscosity, and whether it contains moisture.
3. Material specific gravity: generally, bucket elevator parameters are designed and calculated for materials with a bulk specific gravity below 1.6. For materials with a higher specific gravity, calculations for traction force and tensile strength of the transmission parts are required. 4. Conveying capacity per unit time.
Generally, the form of the material directly determines the unloading method. The common rule is that powdery materials use centrifugal projection unloading, while lumpy materials use gravity unloading. The unloading method determines the type of bucket used in the bucket elevator. Centrifugal projection unloading often uses shallow buckets and arc buckets, while gravity unloading requires deep buckets. The type of bucket used affects the conveying capacity per unit time. The final conveying capacity of the bucket elevator is a comprehensive parameter that depends on the bucket type, bucket speed, material specific gravity, material properties, and the number of buckets. The selection process is as follows: material specific gravity → transmission method (bucket elevator model) → material properties → unloading method → bucket type → lifting capacity of the series → determine the model.
